Background

We were approached by Riverside Dental Practice as they were looking to create a company website for the clinic. The client requested a modern feel in terms of aesthetics. The website was designed to be fully responsive as this provided a crucial competitive advantage over other local practices and allowed Riverside Dental Practice to expand its business.

In the first stage of the process, our creative team focused on practice’s business culture and goals. The aim was to emphasize the fact that the practice was a trusted and successful dental care provider with years of experience.

By applying the colour theme and unique graphic elements of their existing logo over all web applications as well as using large high-resolution images, we delivered a professional online experience characterised by simplicity of use and accessibility. The Riverside Dental Practice website is unique and has helped the clinic stand out among local dental care providers.

The Website

Working closely with the clinic’s management, the goal was to create a robust and user-friendly website. We began by planning site navigation and developing the site map as it seemed challenging, considering the number of dental treatments on offer.

Once those were approved we started working on the structural plans for the user interface. The team began developing a custom UI design, with the focus on making the site information and treatment descriptions easy to access for the online visitors. Our aim regarding this project was lead generation but, most importantly, to create a website that would set Riverside Dental Practice ahead of the competition.

In order to ensure user ease and speed of access, the website’s high performance and speed were optimised by compressing all images and all the style-sheets and scripts, ensuring they defer loading in order to achieve the best speed possible. We used new (WebP) and traditional (JPEG) image formats at various dimensions in order to facilitate accessibility from a range of browsers and devices.
